Alright, it runs now. Funny thing is, it just worked. Before with the new battery is didnt run. Then last night, round mid night, my friend was like "alright what the hell I'll try it again" Boy, were his neighbors pissed when they heared that V8 ROAR. It doesnt have the exhaust pipe attached to it after the cat, its there, but not attached.

But now we have problem #2... When he puts it in reverse, the car moves. Then when he puts it in drive, the passenger's side locks up, while the driver's side just peels out. We tried to lift it, to see if that wheel would move, it doesnt. (yes we had it in neutral) Any tips guys?

Your brakes on that side may be locked up. You will have to try to back the adjuster off and remove the drum. It is drum right?
The V8 sounds kinda neat without the exhaust hooked up after the cat don't it. Kind of a deep burbleing rumble. I drove my 84 to home and then the muffler shop like that.

IT DRIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We beat the hell out of the drum with a hammer, and it runs! Now we need to attach the catback to the cat becuase its hanging off. Wow, just wow. Now he needs to fix the passenger side window, figure out the fog lights, find a replacemtn bumper and fender (beat to hell) and that about it....oh yeah, get it registered

. . . And what's the moral of this story, kids?

Hitting things with a hammer will fix ANYTHING!!!

That reminds me, I think my fiance's Michael Buble CD collection needs to be "fixed" . . . hmmmm. . . . cross-peen, or sledge?[sm=roll.gif]

Congrats on a job well done. A little elbow grease and you're home free.

As for Turtle, use the sledge and take 'em all out with one giant sweep.
