92 RS catless Y and oxygen sensors
What problems will i run into with my catless Y and oxygen sensors. Will I need to get sensor deletes or have them programmed out or something? trying to get my ducks in a row before i get home from deployment and install the new system.

Which engine, out of curiosity? Your computer won't even know the cat is gone, since you don't have a post-cat sensor.
But you want to keep the oxy sensor(s) operational, as they monitor and control your air/fuel mix. Air and fuel rate is constantly changing due to the demand/load of the engine. Without one, your engine will run like crap, gas mileage and performance will suck as well. Oxy sensors aren't necessarily an emissions item (although that's one result of their operation), they're there to make the engine perform it's best.

Very true. I am waiting for my wideband o2 sensor to come in. Im putting it in a Carbureted 78. They are great for fine tuning that extra HP or milage.
Just have the muffler shop weld in a place for it. My guy didn't even charge me for adding the mount for the O2 sensor.
No, you can not just plug it or jumper it. You pretty much have to have it with fuel injection. If you don't want it then take off the fuel injection and get a carb.

ok cool i didnt want to come home, install the system just to have it spit codes at me. While im at it, anyone have any input/reviews about the flowtech shorties or Borla catback system?

never heard much about the flowtech shorties, but theyre cheap and expect them to be of a lesser quality. you get what you pay for. and which borla exhaust system are you looking at, the tunable one?

we had one on our car at school, but of course coolant got onto the optispark and it didnt run. but the way its made is the passenger side tailpipe is removable with different size inserts. isnt a bad idea, it didnt seem hard to mess with. not sure on the sound though, check around youtube

if you are going with a free flow exhaust and headers you might want to check into a heated oxygen sensor. i put one in mine since i did the same. the headers do not hold the heat as manifolds do. i got mine from casper electronics.
