hi guys I have a 1992 Rs w/ a 305 auto I put a new motor, cam, push rods, timing set, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, air, oil, and fuel filter in it but it just doesn't have that throw you in the back seat get up and go that a camaro should have. I followed all the specs to the letter I mean it runs nice but just doesn't have that Camaro torque you expect when you mash the pedal. Any suggestions?

 

perhaps steeper rear end gears? is at an auto? perhaps a higher stall torque converter?
