Default 92 305 tbi Headers

I'm looking to get headers for my RS and I'm not sure what brands and type(long, short)is going to help with flow and HP. Any info orrecommendations? Thanks

i put on a set of hooker shorties on my 89 RS. As for flow, look for 1 5/8 with your 305. To big of a tube will actually take power away rather than gain it. I got 1 5/8, kinda wish i woulda looked around a bit more for 1 3/4 since i have a semi buildt 350 under the hood... No problems with clearance, but install is a PITA.

get shortys. hooker would be good or flowmaster. also dont go big. if u go with some big **** ur gonna lose power. also dont expect to feel tons of horsepower with any. possible 15hp TOPS.

if u got a true duel it would have to be a custom exhaust because camaros dont really allow for any aftermarket true duel setups because of clearance issues. A custom true duel setup is really gonna cost u, a lot; not worth it.

the mufflers would run perpendicularbehind your axel. Then just a small tip on the end to "dress it up" a bit.
