i have a 91 camrao it set for about 6 mouths then one morning i was going to work in it and evrytime i come to a stop it dies i have change fuel pump disturbuter hei modul! when u first start it u can pull it into gear no problem but when it gets warm it dies but only when u come to a stop and its in gear u can keep it reved up and pull it into gear and its fine! any help would help alot i am tired of sinkin money into it! oh its trottle body 305 automatic!

 

When it stalls out at a stop, does it putter and slowly die, or does it surge and sound like the ignition is stalled. Also, when your cruising at around 45, and let off the gas pedal does the engine surge (drop rpms and quickly pick back up)?

 

Dumb question do those have a mass air flow senser

 

yeah, they do, It may be the sensor its self thats causing the problem, or it may be a relay.

 

dont about the 45 mph i have not been able to drive it as it is a pain to drive like it is
