Default 91 RS

I'm going to go look at a 91 RS 305 with a 5 speed this upcoming week. It has roughly 80,000 miles on it. What specifically should i look for in this car? I know its a smaller V8 but its a V8 and i can always drop a bigger one in if i want, but its a good starter. Tranny/Clutch is the one im most concerned about, is there anything else that i should really take a look at? i dont mind the small work but i cant afford a big issue (college soon). Thanks guys.

The RS is a good starter car, just remember that the 305 TBI is not a world beater. Just treat itlike a normal used car. But in your case and concern about the 5-sp & clutch I would check out the age of the seller. If the primary driver is young the chances are you will be looking at a clutch replacement. My opinion.

i have a 92 with 195k, still runs strong, its a good car, preformance wise, it sucks, but it will run forever, deff check the clutch out though, does it have the G92?
