89 camaro rs

Default 89 camaro rs
i just got a 89 camaro rs with a old style 350 with a mild cam 350 trans with a shift kit in it my thing is that when floored it wont kick down but shifts fine and will kick down if you manualy do it could this be because the kick down cable is out of adjustment

Could be. The kickdown cable should be pulled all the way out at WOT (heel to the steel).

Is this car TPI or carburated?
