i have an 89 camaro thats a dark blue, the color is patriot blue the guy who had it before me had it painted. its just the RS hood nothin fancy with the iroc-z tail lights. im lookin into gettin a hood. either a 2" cowl or the iroc hood and maybe even the iroc turbo hood O_o but i think thats a little too much

whatd you pay for the hood?

 

I have a 1986 Z28 that is all original with the 5.0 TPI. The hood "350rs" shows in the pictures is the exact hood that came on all Z28's and IROC's. The ground effects also are the exact same for Z28 and IROC. The only real difference is either the uprgaded 5.7L engine (not all IROC's had the 5.7) or the decals. I will post pictures also when I get it painted.

As for the hood question......the Z hood and IROC hood are the same and in my opinion look good with the original appearance as well.

if you are thinking about cowl dont get a ridiculous 2" and get 4" at least. gives it the visual horsepower

 

I would go with the 4" cowl hood. They look so agressive and badass.
I think i'm going to buy one.

 

i personally think the huge cowl hood is dumb. Only time it could be used is when the clearance is needed and you dont wanna have a hole in your hood. But thats just my 2 cents

 

yeah i think a huge cowl just looks ridiculous, its kinda overdoin it, ya know?
