88 iroc 5.7 radiator fan ?

88 iroc 5.7 radiator fan ?
hi on my iroc 5.7 only the drivers side fan comes on and not right will the right one only come on when ac is on my ac doesnt work or are they both supposte to come on?also fan motor is new .any input much appreciated thanks
