Default 88 camaro won't stay on pls help!!!

I have an 88 iroc camaro 5.7 ltr tpi it starts up in the morning no problem, but once I drive it for a while and park it, and try turning it on again it won't stay on, I've notice if I keep my foot on the gas while I crank it it'll stay on until I release the gas pedal. I checked the codes and came out with 33 and 36 both having to do with maf sensor. I put a new maf sensor and codes erased. The car ran fine for a day and a half now its doing the same thing it won't stay on. I checked for vacuum leak and everything is fine. I did noticed gromet on valve cover for pvc sensor was torn, so I replaced both gromet and pvc sensor. The thing is before I connected the hose to the pvc I had my wife crank it and it turned on, but once I connected the hose the car would stay on. I tried causing another smaller vacuum leak and the car would stay on, but as soo as I connected vacuum hose it wouldn't stay on. I stumped on what the problem is if anyone here could help me with suggestions or what could be the problem please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and god bless. My email is saldav420@gmail.com I'm from san diego lakeside california 619 742-5149. My name is Sal text or call me if you have time. This is the only car I have so I really need the help....

After you replaced the MAF the codes did not come back? You have rechecked for codes?

There are a lot of things that could cause this but the first thing that comes to mind is the IAC motor is getting lazy or not moving at all or it really dirty. Second thing would be an EGR valve not sealing as idle and allow a small mount of exhaust gas into the intake.
