Is it common for the Irocs to have the fuel pumps go out in them. My dad bought the car brand new had to replace it twice, I have had the car since last summer and we replaced it then and now It seems its going out again.... any info would be greatly appreciated.

One cause for your fuel pump problem could be running your gas tank near empty for periods of time. Since the gas is cooling the pump a near empty tank could cause overheating and failure.

 

That could definitely be a problem with me as i sometimes tend to do that, but not my dad.
