Default Is this 86 iroc worth saveing need opinions

went checked this car out, he wants 300 for it knuckle in front is busted off frame, car is not as bad as described. needs new rear quarter panels and possibly floor and trunk. its an 86 iroc roller, want to make a nice decent project street/strip car with 383

I would let that one go to the scrap yard if I were you. You'd have to little to start with in my opinion.

prob is that around here all the cars are worst then this ive been looking for a camaro for about 6 months now this is the best ive found so far would make a mean project

Do the math first. Make a list of all the parts you will need. Get on the net and find prices for those parts including shipping. Add it all together. Then multiply it by two. This is probably what it will cost you if you do the work yourself, not including paint. If you have the money, time and desire then maybe. If not keep looking. (I would keep looking, just my opinion.)

in maryland i kind of got time and money and this is the first iroc i found in 6 months thats not trashed but i am comparing right now about 3 grand not including motor but dont want to spend 3 grand if i have to only reason im looking for project to keep me occupied this summer

That's not a project car. That's a parts car. HUGE difference between the two.
