Question 86' Exhaust Rattle

My 1986 Camaro Z28 has an exhaust rattle. When its in reverse or the steering wheel is turned a certain way you can hear it. Is this a common problem? What can i do to fix it?

Thanks for your help

What you may have is a loose heat shield on top of the cat. The spot welds break and it could be your rattle.

I looked under it and it seems that the left tailpipe is closer to the bottom of the car and gas tank than the other. Im guessing when its in reverse or the steering wheel is tured to a certian point the body moves enough to touch the tailpipe
