I have inherited a 83 camaro with a 305 its been parked under cover for about 20 years i got it to start and run i was told it was originally parked due to a vacuum leak anything specific i should do before driving it to my house about 10 miles away and any advice as to common issues and my possible vacuum leak

 

probly to late but I would at the very least smell the gas. if it smells of varnish drain and change filters. to insure you're safe drain the gas tank and change fuel filters, add some fresh gas and go from there.
