I have an 82 Z28 with manual locks. I need to get into the door panels & replace the locks. I have the special tools for removing the door panel, window crank, etc. but cant figureout how to remove the lock slider & trim from the linkages to remove the panel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx, Joe

The lock slider just snaps over the rod that is behind it. If you can get something to hook it you can just pull it and it will unsnap then slide it off.
The trim panel should have a screw under the square panel that is behind the armrest. Remove the arm rest and if on the drivers door the panel that is to the left of the arm rest bolt. It has two real screws and two fake ones that are just hooks on that side.
