well my 82 is finally, on the road, and i am a happy camper,:icon_clapcla p:
its still just goin to be a toy for a little while longer till i know for sure all is good,,
( as i think im goin to be needin to go threw the rear end,as its makin noise when under full load...)
dmv bs,,got to love that freekin place,,
goin threw it all tomarrow, all the tune-up-bs that is...
as ive got the next 3 weeks off to play around with it....
(started early an did the oil -filter,
found a bunch of vac leaks,
threw some new mich pilots on the iroc rims and got them on the car,
changed the fuel pump as it had a non return on it,
and found a disconected o2 and a bunch of missing emissions stuff as well ...oh goody!!!!)
man i forgot how mean these little 305s can be, lol,
runs pretty good for sittin 15yrs...no poop 15yrs!!!
i still cant believe how complete the int of this car is, i mean its all there,,,w/127k on the clock.....
the old boy i bought it from...,,bought the car just for the rims 12yrs ago
(ooldschool s/s cregars)and just let it set...the guys got more freekin toys than he knows what to do with....
hope to have it threw emissions by the middle of jan,
but its on the road, an all is now good....
at least i can rip around in it when i want to!!...,,,
an id like some iinput from you guys,,,
how youd build it kind of thing,,,
help give me some insparation and or good ideas....
i have been thinkin a kind of restomod......./??
maybe a kind of rat rod?/?
just do the drivetrain, leave the outside like it is, but trick out the int???
you know ...kind of a serious wolf in an old sheeps clothing kind of thing???lol...
what do you think???

 

cool back on the road. drive it for a while and learn as much as u can about it. the car is yours and im sure u want it to reflect your tastes and such, the mods will come to u.

crabbing right now. workin most every day. xmas is coming ready or not. lol. tree goes up on the 20th. been really cold untill yesterday. now its back to rain and wind. not sure which i liked better,,, or is it less. merry christmas. am i alowed to say that on here? hope so.
