I have a 74 350 in my 89 camaro. The motors ar diff, but if you have to complete motors the only issues I can thin of would be fuel related(i.e. pressures) and hoses. My car went together using the 74 stuff and89 camaro stuff. The 74 stuff was 2wd truck. I'm not sure if your flexplate will bolt up to your 700r4, but it shouldn't be to hard to find one. Just keep the same number of teeth. The 2wd drive 1972 oil pan will fit in yourcamaro.

Hey if your scrappin the 305, i'd be interested in the tbi, the intake, computer, a bunch of random stuff, to make my car fuel injected again. I moved to lake county and now I have to worry about emmisions, and I've started to like to takecorners (fuel injection works better than carbsabove 1g)
