ok i have a turbo 350 trans out of a 1975 half ton chevy
IT has been rebuilt with a 9 inch tail shaft instead of 6 inch

now what i need is an adapter block to bolt my 700r4 tail housing to the th350 but the adapter has to be 3 inches long to make the th350 the same length as my 700r4 and still use the bar that bolts to my differential housing


where do i find one of these
or do they make a 9 inch tail housing that fits a th350 and has the mounts for the camaros center bar thing

i was hoping to use the 700r4 tail as i wont have to do any spedo work

Why the 350? The 700R4 is the same as the 350 but with OD.

because i got a brand new th350 with upgraded clutches and b&m shift kit for a good deal and watched it get built

 

i dont want to have to fab my own torsion bar so i need either a 9 inch tail housing with the torsion bar mounts or a spacer plate that will allow me to bolt my 6 inch tail housing from the 700r4 to the th350 trans and end up being the proper length

 

You are also looking at a new drive shaft, because the stock one will not fit the 350 tanny.

 

no not a whole driveshaft just a truck driveshaft end on my driveshaft
