My brother-in-law gave me a set of springs for a 99 Z28.

1. Will they fit my 86 IROC?
2. What effect would they have on the performance?

They will be 13 yrs newer and performance wise NONE......

 

The front suspension is different.

 

the weight and balance of the cars are different they might fit but they r not the same they could sag alot or be over tence which makes ur performance worse and ur ride height different

 

i choped my rear springs, and ended up not liking it because when the axle droops at full length they fall out... not good for safety and emmisions. i need to go to a junkyard to find new ones, so who know what vehicles besides the camaro have the same springs. my car is a 85 3rd gen
