does anyone have ideals on how to make 400hp with a 92 3.1
im tryna run under a 11.2 n i figure i wuld probly need somewhere in the range of hp and i cant jus swap to a v8 because of my stupid bet

While possible, it isn't practical. Lose the bet with your boss, it'll probably be around 20 grand cheaper to do it that way.

 

Sure, dual turbos, and a nitrous system to combat the turbo lag. I would estimate $20,000 ish to get it done. Maybe just nitrous, but you will probably end up killing the engine doing it. Either way, count on an engine rebuild to beef it up for it.

 

Not sustainable with that platform. It would take a massive undertaking to get that out of a 3.1, let alone the rest of the driveline.

hot rod magazines drag tour had a guy with a turbo kitted v6 camaro and it ran 10s but stands at about 15k but you could copy his spec for less as he would spent a lot of money chasing dead ends/changing setup, to get into the 11s prob the turbo kit set of stickies for the back and some trany/convertor mods but don't think it would last too long tho!
