Default 383 Mopar Swap??????

Does anyone know how hard it would be to throw a 383 mopar into a 1983 Z28 camaro? Need to know ASAP.

Thanks, DacMan

all i can say is wow. i mean, you can get an adapter to bolt a th-350 to any engine, but motor mounts and exhaust would be the hard part

What do you mean it's not even close? I found one on craigslist that is a really good deal, and I just wanted to make sure it was out of reach, I just can't decide whether to keep my 305 or go 350. I'm loosing sleep over it boys! lol.

Put a Mopar engine in there, and you'll get disowned by the Chevy and Camaro community. If you do it, for your own safety, don't ever show the car with the hood open.

I apologize everyone I didn't know , I found this one looking for a chevy 383 stroker, but thought maybe it would work , so to be official, it won't happen.

My Apologies (lol), DacMan

haha. Might be kinda neat though. Dont know much about the reliability of the 383 mopar though. Im always up for a story of putting a different engine than a SBC in a third gen Camaro.

like a 454 or a pat musi 555 or some radical aluminum big block that wont kill the handling and balance. ony problem is you need to cut holes in the fender the change spark plugs, or remove the headers.......unless you flip the headers forward and run a turbo.......... turbo big block sounds good for a third gen. anyone up for full tubing a car?
