Default 350 swap deal

I went over to this place and as soon as i walk in this guy just starts tryin to sell me a 350. 350 HP, dart heads, decent comp cam, valve covers, edelbrock intake and 600 cfm carb., holley 14 in air cleaner, and a two year wananty on abrand new engine, for $3200. Then id have to get an HEI distributer and wires. Other than that, thats all id need so roughly around $350. Do you think this would be a good buy, or am i better off getting a completly assemble engine just about the same exept 300Hp for $2500?

to me, its worth the extra bank to get the extra power... but its up to just how much you are wanting to do yourself

i have an engine forsale with atleast 350 hp for only $1800. block andinternals wererebuilt by gm less then 5000 miles ago and the set up it has now has 0 miles.
i dont see how this is still forsale, i have been trying to sell for quit a while and people are looking to spend upwards of $2500 for the same amount of power. theres nothing wrong at all with the engine, i had it running in the truck it came out of before i took it apart, it started right up, after we fixed the stuck electric choke.
