ORIGINAL: 350rs

the z28's had the HO 305.
i thought the i rocs had the HO engines. mine wasnt an HO. it had 160 hp. really pathetic if you ask me.

Using 1986 as an example, the LG4 was available with 2 different HP ratings. 155 for the sport coupe, and 165 for the Z. Then the L69 HO was available in the IZ's. So compared to the SC's LG4, the LG4 in the Z is a HO.

i just can't get over the fact that he is willing to put time and money into swapping out the crank but he doesn't want to put in a 350. i mean 350s are a dime a dozen (very cheap to buy used and do a stock rebuild on). putting a new crankin a 305 would be like putting a lot of money into a v6 camaro because still in the end it's still just a v6 camaro! except with this it's a 305... i mean lets all admit it the 305 and the 307 are pretty much the worse motors gm has ever made as far as power goes... but it's his car let him learn on his own.

Maybe the worst small blocks, but def. not the worst motors...
