I am building an 86 2.8 5speed into a vortec 350, 4l80oe, 3/4 ton 8 lug rearend frame reinforcement and connectors, custom tower connectors, custom a/c 500 watt stereo i am in the process of removing ugly rust and adding new pretty metal thicker metal just looking for any thoughts ideas or advice going to be a fun project to replace jeep

 

Tubular chassis, The Camaro uni-body really should not even tow a trailer no less be truck like. Think of this way. If you took a 20 series truck, Cut the back of the frame off at the seat then welded the bed to the cab and the rear axel mounts to the bed you would have a uni-body truck.
