I bought my camaro about a week ago and i tried to take it through emissions a couple days ago and it failed the three gas tests and the fuel pressure test.. I think i might be able to solve the gas tests because my carb was running real heavy on the fuel and i tuned it to run a little leaner and plan and putting 2 gallons of that jet fuel stuff into my tank before i go in next time. Plus i only had the car running for about 15-20 min before going in there when i should of drove it around for at least an hour to let the cats warm up. But the main question was about that pressure test that they do there. Im hoping that maybe if i put a pressure regulator on the fuel line it may help....course i dont even know exactly what it tests. I believe the gas cap isnt my problem because they did a whole separate test to test that out. And then the second question was on my e brake. The cable broke loose out of the cylinder that holds it in place in the sprocket assembly...i was wondering if it is easier to just replace it or is there some type of repair kit that you can get for it....thank you...paul

what car do you have? is it an OEM carb or and aftermarket? Lowering the fuel pressure will reduce all of your emissions. if its TOO high, change your oil to, it may be contaminated with fuel now, which will make your emissions even worse.
