Default 1988 Camaro V.6 2.8 HELP

Well, I got a new battery for my 1988 camaro, turned it on and it worked fine! It drove us from orlando to miami which is about 2-3 hours drive in our condition we didnt want to mess up a car that hasnt drove for 2 years straight.

Anyways.. The car now turns on w/o a jump start. The a.c worked but the stereo didnt so my friend check the FUSE BOX and the radio fuse chip was DONE so we replaced it. The radio worked! A.c ! worked lights worked! next day!

We tryed to turn the car on, we heard the car attempting to turn on but wouldnt. We tryed later it wouldnt even make a sound if you tryed turning it on. The a.c / Stereo worked but stopped like 2 minutes later. All lights work but are EXTREMLY LIGHT looks like its dieing?

My question is, The guy who fixed my radio left a wire hanging out where my pedals are, right next to my clutch attached near the FUSE box.

It reads on the wire, PACKARD ELECTRIC PAC CON III A B
And theirs a yellow fuse chip in it.
This is what it looks like.

I was wondering if you guys think this cord is the problem? The fuse is FINE in it, ALL MY FUSES ARE GOOD. I cant find where this cord goes!

Does it need to be plugged in? Because i cant find where it should be

But i will say this now it was never hanging like that.

Help please i really want to get this car running so i can get it to a shop to get fixed.

That doesn't look original, it probably goes to your radio and shouldn't hurt anything. As far as your battery dying you must have a parasitic drain somewhere, probably a glove box light or somethind similar is staying on and draining your battery.
