Exclamation 1986 Iroc-Z28 Making Wierd Noise

So this Camaro has been sitting for a few years, and I got a new battery so I could start restoring it, I don't have a lot of time to see about it and I've noticed when I hook up the battery a whirring noise comes from near the passenger side wheel well. It cranks and doesn't start but I can see about that later. I have no idea what this noise could be but I came here for some help. ANYTHING will be helpful so don't feel scared to say anything.

Heater fan maybe? Can you post a video? A whirring noise doesn't give us much to work with.

Good question, might just be the fuel pump.
