No option codes on it?

Check for the option codes, should tell you what it is.

the vin will tell you a little, but if you look under the center counsel lid there will be a sticker with a bunch of 3 digit codes. look for the z28 code and if you see z28 then its a z28. you can go thru each code one by one and find out what your car came with out of the factory. I believe there is a list of these IPO codes somewere on this site or you can find them elsewere on the web for your car and year. if you dont have this list with the car you might be out of luck.

If im not mistaken the RPO codes should tell you. There should be a big sticker on the inside wall of the center console compartment, with a bunch of 3 digit codes. Write them down and then go to http://www.thirdgen.org/rpodecoder and download the RPO decoder. These codes will tell you everything about your car, including sub-model.

Default Poblem Solved

Checked the Rpo codes and it is a sports coupe. I guess at some point in the life of this car someone swapped out the tail lights and hood and a few other things with ones from a Z28. I am going to get this car cleaned up and on the road.. to bad its not a Z28 That will be my next purchase though!

just make yours a Z. there are alot of clones out there that look sweet and according to the barett jackson auctions could still bring a good buck.
