Default 06 Vette Wheel Fitment?

i have a 84 base model camaro with the carb 305. i went out on a limb and picked up some corvette c6 wheels for 400 bucks. they look brand new and are gm stamped so they are factory. the front rims are 18x8.5's and rear are 19x10's. i went to the shop to see how bad they wouldnt fit, and the front would prolly be alright with minor wheel well cutting and spacers. the rear rims are gonna be tricky. i couldn't even get the holes close to the studs. the backspacing is like 8 5/16's. i'm thinkin maybe a forth gen rear end with spacers might help out with that. i'm not mechanically inclined but that's what i think. what would you guys suggest?

the 4th gen rear is the same size as the 3rd gen, there are only a few minor internal difference. you are going to have to find a custom wheel spacer/adapter. i think though anything more than a 9 inch wide wheel will either need it to stick way out of the fender, or cut out the inner fender and make tubs. im not 100% on that though because i have seen magazines with c5 wheels on a 3rd gen, but it was never covered on the build up what is required to do. i say best of luck and let us know how it goes

You're still going to need to use spacer adapters. 4th gen Camaro wheels won't even fit onto a 3rd gen without using 1.5"~2" thick adapters, I've tried.

Thanks for the heads up and answering another thought of using 4th gen Camaro/Firebird wheels... I don't mind the tire poke on the rear end, maybe I'll talk to the local Billet guy!
