Anyone think a set of 90's IROC-Z rims would look good on an 81 Z28? Here's the rims im talking about and the car is silver with black Z28 decals/stripes.

The rims on that are too small...but that color is almost correct. Mine has the Z28 decals on the side as well as the fender flares. Those rims would be fine if i didn't have the fender flares. On a related note, will the rims from an IROC-Z fit on my camaro? Do i need wheel spacers etc.?

15x8's on the rear,15x7's on the front.your not going much wider than that without fender work on the rear.the front will be rubbing the fender wells

The rims on IROC-Z's are 16's right? I'd like something of similar if not the same rolling diameter as the factory ones. A LOT of people (cough)ricers(cough) don't know that putting big rims on your car is actually likely to decrease braking, acceleration, and handling.

well i'm not trying to be a smartass, but i think your car came from the factory with 14's,if not it was 15's.so if you go to a 16, wouldnt that decrease your braking ,acceleration and handling

The Iroc wheels didn't look good on them, so I realy don't think they would look good on a 2nd gen car. if your going to go with 16's at least get something that looks better then a stock wheel.

You'd be right if i used tires that were the same height. I want something of similar rolling diameter. In other words the tires are lower profile and overall they'd be the same size. My car doesn't have the honeycomb style rims of that car, it's got the other style.

Same style rims as on that car.
