Yes i am a member on NastyZ28 also, along with ProTouring.com, and a bunch of others and that's why I made the previous comments because I researched on numerous forums to decide which wheels to order. From my forum searching I had read that most of the cars with the larger front tires (255 and bigger) did have 4.75 bs, but the majority of them that had the 245/45 had the 4.5 bs and didn't have the problems. I do have a used set of 255's on now, but had planned on using 245/45's when I buy the new front tires, which was the reason for ordering the 4.5 bs front wheels. All in all it doesn't really matter I'm just going to have to go all the way down to like a 225/50-17 and hope I don't still have the issues. I did find one thread that was talking about going to a much higher rate front lowering spring but seems like the ride quality would really suffer. I do appreciate your comments as you seem to be a big help for many people in their threads.

I'm just bored most of the time, lol. When I looked for mine I asked I guess two or three members what size wheel and tire combo they had. I didn't even catch the fact people with a 255 were using 4.5". I PMed Chamaro on Nasty, he has the exact same as me. There was also another guy, time attack i think. He was selling the same wheels i bought. Then there was Jerhoffer. His has 255 on front but I thought he had 4.75" IDK I don't have fenders on my car yet, I might be in trouble too.

Another thing is not all tires are the same. I saw a pic of 315 Nitto's stacked next to 315 Goodyear F1's. The goodyears were about 2" taller.

I have also read stiffer springs will keep you out of the wheel wells. Good luck, I understand the frustration. I'm not a wealthy man, I think I even posted that when I was asking about tires. I can't afford to buy another set if they don't fit. Specially with the rears being custom.

I got a membership on a Jeep forum to help with the Cherokee build i'm working on. That place is so busy that my thread gets buried two pages back everyday and doesn't really get responses. They all want to a rock sliders and bull guards, screw figuring out hoe the damn engine is built.
