Z Bar Installation

Default Z Bar Installation

Im trying to install the clutch assembly while the motor is already in the car. All I have left to do I hook the z bar onto the block pivot ball but I cant seem to get it. Does anyone have any tips as to how to get the z bar on?

yeah, you need to some how **** the engine sideways to get the bar in there, i think i had to take my trans and bell housing out to get the engine far enough sideways to get the bar in there....usually the bar is installed in the car first, then when installing the engine you hook up the bar to the pivot ball...dont worry, i did the same thing!!

Does your z-bar frame bracket bolt to the frame? The one on my old 69 did, so you could put the assembly all together, then bolt it to the frame.
