Default what kinda HP and TQ ?

just curious if you guys could tell me what you all think of this combo i have in my 81 z28, like as for what kinda of HP and TQ i shouldexpect from it?? andmy 1/4 mile time

here are the specs for it...

motor was built at Wildgoose performance in stoney creek, ontario, canada

motor is a 468 BBC, the crank and rods are stock cast, heads are open chamber style (049's), pistons are .30 over sealed power hyperutectic, i have been told it around 11:1 compression with them pistons, the cam is 60205LK(2500-6500rpm), x-celerator weiand single plain aluminum intake #7544(1500-6000rpm), has 7/16 hardened pushrods, clevite high volume oil pump, TH350trans that is rebuilt with b&m master racing overhaul kit and b&m transpak stage 2 shift kit. i think the stall is a 2500-3000 checked using the line lock and the tires came loose at 2500rpm???...... holley electric fuel pump, Holley 750 double pump carb, fuel pressure is set at 7psi,stock rear end with 3:08 gears(from what i have been told)and a posi, heddmenlong tube race headers 1-7/8" to 3" or 3.5" collector, dual 2.5" with 40 series flowmasters, also have dumps right off the headers when needed

link to my cam i have

link to the intake manifold (middle column very bottom one part #7544)

um...... alot [sm=insomnia.gif]

you have a fully built big block. its gunna be fast. maybe someone can be more helpful, but when you have no original components in the motor its very difficult to predict power. you could be anywhere from 450-700 in a big motor like that depending on how things are working together. go slap it on a dyno. im surprised they didnt dyno it after the build just to make sure it was running right.

well as far as i know it hasnt been on a dyno, and let me tell you this car fawkin moves too!!

but i'd love to get her on a dyno and see what she hits for hp, and tq....

he ran it at the track, and he said the car ran a 13.6 at over 100mph mark (he cant member the exact mph tho) and he said it was really embrassing as the car spun down the entire track......

a worked BBC like that should do well better than 13.6, but if that mph is only marginally above 100 i dunno..... 100-110 is 13 second range

yea, but also gotta member he said the car spun the tire pretty well the entire track....cuz it had a 275/65/15 BFG radial t/a which everyone knows they suck lol

now maybe he was full of crap too when he said the number maybe he actually meant like 12.6 or something i dunno.... maybe he didnt even run the car and said he did
