OK si I bought this engine...it was supposed to be from a 89 IROC..TPI 350 with computer sensors and harness.I was going to put it in a 74 camaro.I got to looking it over and I dont think it is what it was said to be.It looks like maybe the TPI is bolted to an older 350.The holes are bored out where it bolts to the heads of the engine.Like it dont fit right.The heads do have the newer style valve covers with the center bolts but something is a miss here.I am not a big chevy guy so not sure what to do about this.I also was going to use the 74 camaro's turbo 400 but the flex plate is smaller on this engine and they wont interchange with the one from the camaro.Bolt pattern is different and so is the crankshaft size where the flex plate bolts too.Any suggestions???
