Single or double roller timing chain

i am going to get the installer but the thing is when i use the remover tool it wore out the first thread and the second one i think but i still got the retaing bolt on...so you think that the installer kit will not strip it..also how would you recomend putting the chain on

Hopefully you only mushroomed the first thread a little. Otherwise you'll need to run a thread chaser into the hole to fix the threads.
Watch the harmonic dampener install video. I would also put some oil on the nut and thrust washer to help it turn easier.
The second video goes through cam and timing chain/gear install. Make a note that the engine is upside down.
The one thing the guy didn't do is use a torque wrench on the bolts, something I wouldn't recommend for a beginner.

so should i use the tourqe wrench or no and how do you think i should put the chain on since its not upside down
