questions about oil pressure
 

well i have a camaro with a 383 has high volume oil pump above 3k its pushing 70 psi idk if thats good or bad. idle is about 50 something

Not a problem, and pretty normal for a high volume oil pump and good bearings. Might even expect a bit higher on a cold start up.

60 on cold start

when cold it goes above 80 when revving up to 5k

almost 90 is that bad?

what kind of oil? dont rev to much when engine is not at operating temp.

15w-40 royal purple when warm its 40 something and it maxes out at 75 maybe but thats 5k

Sounds pretty normal for a high volume pump and a tight engine to me. Would I like it a bit lower? Yes, but it's not seriously high, and I think your engine will be OK.

when you change oil try 10-40

im just gonna keep putting the same stuff in its been that way since new and i dont wanna change it. if u say its fine
