Default Pulley component mounting on 78 Camaro with 350

I have an 88 5.7 TBI motor from an 88 Silverado. I put the intake on so that I can put a 4 barrel on. I need to make it look like a 78 350 (so I have no hassle from smog), I need make everything fit inside the bay of a Camaro (I don’t know, maybe there is no difference in engine compartment size). The 88 motor set up is serpentine and has a huge frame with cross braces that bolts to the motor to hold the accessories up. In the future I would run AC, and I have to convert the air pump anyway because it has an electronic hook up on it.
I am thinking of either changing the pulleys so I have the old school V belt.

Can anybody post a picture of the front end of the motor on a stock 78 Camaro (with a 350)? I can't find a good diagram or picture in my book. Belt routing is one thing but I looked at both water pumps for the 88 pickup I took apart and what would be in a 78 Camaro. The one for the Camaro has two threaded holes facing towards the radiator on the left side by the big neck for the radiator hose. Is this where the generator/alternator mounts? And what does the smaller threaded hole (by the weep hole) plumb to?

Please every angle is appreciated. Please show me where any bypass/heater hoses would go, any braces (if any), and where the accessories bolt up.

youll have to get an electric fuel pump and regulator and a post 86 intake or drill some angled holes in the 4 middle bolt holes of the intake (pre 86). But it should be a pretty easy job. check out the heads on that, maybe swirl port? you might be better off buying a used pre 86 350ci for the price of the conversion and have better performance to?

Heres the best angle i can give you that i have saved, theres another belt that runs around the crank and PS.

I know the rod and lobe are gone so an e pump is the way to go. I got the propper intake for the different angled holes in the center. What do you mean by regulator? Swirl port?

I work for a tow yard, that's where I am getting the big stuff from. I spoke with the previous owner of the pickup I pulled the motor and tranny from. It had a rebuild at one time. Last night I installed a double roller so I checked the caps, 10 over. So...if the motor blows up after all my time and money then I will buy a crate short block and salvage what's left. I have the pre 86 intake plate lying around the shop so I have the right fit if I goto an actual 350 instead of a 5.7 :-).

Thanks for your insight. Is there really a performance difference with a 350 and a 5.7? Are they not the same except for center holes, the heads/ valve cover mounts, and fuel pump? Isn't the main change because of the international metric push back when I was a baby and carb versus fuel infection?

those truck throttle body engines were made for low end torque and better fuel economy, the block is pretty much the same, pistons are prob diff. maybe domed? but im not saying its no good, just the heads are no good (for performance wise, your not gonna tow trailers etc. with your camaro) lol. just sayin the $ it will take to convert you can just buy another pre 86 engine (350/5.7L) with just as much hp that you would get from that engine but less work. even a early 80's 305 HO would prob have more HP.

Oh ok swirl ports is what made my motor a truck motor (low end torque/better fuel economy). And the reason why I need fuel regulator because the carb motor with mech pumps have differnt fuel pressure versus a fuel injection motor with an electric motor.

Yeah, the newer blocks don't have the part machined out where the manual fuel pump would be on the older blocks. So you would have to get an electric fuel pump and in some cases a fuel regulator, but theres pumps you can get that have enough pressure to sufficiently feed your carb.
