Default Problems with my 78

I recently had my carburetor rebuilt after my car stalled while driving. Now everytime I press on the gas petal the car stalls and almost dies. Any suggestions?

It's a 78 with a 350

bad accelerator pump or ignition advance is not working. could be choke but that should go away when the motor warms if its the choke not closing when cold.

Float level might be set too low also.

Could be the choke closing when it's not supposed to also, pretty common with q-jets.
Who did the rebuild? might not be a good job.

Hmmmm....any chance the carb wasn't the culprit in the first place? Could be. Another possibility is your mechanical fuel pump might be bad. Is it leaking at all? A pump can be bad without leaking, but a leak is a sure sign.
