Default Looking for tech info, newby to forum.

First Camaro, 1979 5.0, turbo 350. Looking for advice on upgrading from stock heads and cam to performance heads and roller cam.

Thanks!

I think,
a set of Summit Racing alum heads, a camshaft simular to GM's LT4 Hot Cam, roller lifters for a 4.3L V6, XXXX1120 P/N as they are the same height as stock tappet so you can use the stock pushrods, and a lifter retainer plate, spider plate by generic terminology and a roller timing chain.

How rude of me, Welcome to the Club!

Thanks, also trying to figure out what heads and cam I can buy for my 305 that I can use on a 350 if and when I upgrade to 350 block. Might as well wear out the 305, while I hunt for a 350 block.

You have to watch out for the heads chosen as 305 is a smaller bore and with large valve heads, the intake hits the block.
