coolant/anti-freeze by-pass?
I just bought a 1979 Camaro Berlinetta 350 SBC down in sacramento, CA. I live in Reno, NV. I believe the elevation change busted the coolant hose. Its leaking through the frame and dash. I was wondering if there is any way to by-pass this, so that I dont have to take the dash off and find the leak in there. My friend has a 98 Z28 who had the same problem and he was able to by-pass it. but that's a totally different car.
All answers will be greatly appreciated.

The way they are from the factory, neither of them just loops back. There is one going from the firewall to the water pump, and another going from the firewall to the front of the manifold near the thermostat housing.Like Val said, all you need to do is disconnect one of them on the motor, then loop the other,or you can unhook both at the firewall and use a coupler to loop them together.

You'll see both hoses on the firewall. Follow them back and you'll see where they start. Remove one, and hook the other to that location to complete the loop.
