Default cam for a LM-1

My sons 79 Berlinetta is in need of a cam, I want a mild cam with a little lope any suggestions. I asked this question in this forum but can not find the post, I would prefer to still have idle.

The shorter the duration, the better the idle. You can go pretty high on lift and gain power, but still not suffer on the idle end. In general I'd reccommend not going over 270 degrees duration if you want good idle, and you probably wont find a cam with more than .470" total lift in that range.
