If money is this issue think about this. You can go to a U-pull it yard find a early 90's 350 that spins by hand nice. Around here they will pull them out for around $150. Freshen it up with some rings and bearing. Then add your parts and and have 210-220 HP "stock" with roller Cam. It will get better gas milage and have way more torque then your modified 307.

i really just wanna get it running before summer ends so i can actually drive it. the things wrong with the engine are: the stock heads are scrap, and i need new push rods. ive taken the heads off and was going to get them cleaned and checked and found out both heads are cracked. thats why i need new heads.
