I think they are more for looks then weight.......I would wrap them, and what ever you do get a heat sheild for the starter or you will melt one every six months. The headers will rust within the first few times of runnin the car, So paint them with some high heat paint, let it dry then wrap them.

According to the description they're already have some high temp paint on them. Would you still recommend wrapping them.

How hard is it to swap a TH350 for an aftermarket T56? What kind of parts would I need? Will it bolt up to my engine? If I decide to get a T56 I will probably go with this one from Summit:

I've heard someone from Team Camaro Tech namedTeetoe Jones sells complete conversion kits for T56s. Anybody heard of this?
