Default Help with full suspension....

I have a 1981 z28. Now don't get me wrong it's fun to go down the strip, but i like the track. I am not getting as much from my suspension as i would like. The back slips out a little i have noticed. I want to upgrade the suspension all the way through. But! my funds are limited right now. So where should i start. I want to buy the parts that will make the most difference first. and then the smaller parts. i checked for worn parts already. suprisingly nothing is to to bad.

Try going to 1 1/4 front and 7/8 rear sway bars (Factory are 1 1/8 and 3/4 rear),with a Herb Adams/Moroso rear bar brackets.(Its a better and stronger design and easier to find bushings for) with greaseable poly bushings. This is the basic upgrade I have done to my 1979 Z-28 RS Camaro Pro-touring car. And still use even with Vette Brakes C-4 Corvette adjustable front suspension. Because it tightens the car ,and it is something you can do as you have the time and the money to do so.Good luck to you.

Start with bushings and springs, as you won't need to remove them later. Give us a call we can surely help you build a plan
