HEY V8CHVYGUY I'M GLAD I CAME HERE, I INSTALLED SIZE60 TIRES IN THE REAR AND I CAN'T DRIVE MY 68 THE QUARTER PANELS HIT WHEN I RUN INTO A SMALL BUMP ON THE STREET, PLEASE HELP. I DO HAVE NEW KYB SHOCKS

I have had up to 255/60 on the back of my 69 (which has smaller wheelwells) and it works fine. they sit on a stock 8" wide rim. how are your rear springs? if they are the originals, they are probably sagging and that would be your problem.

do not go with shakle extensions!! they are the worst cover-up for other problems....next to air shocks!!!!

Mechanicly the car is all origional #'s matching. So, yes, the springs are definately sagged, but, what's making the tires rub is the 15x10 reverse offset rims. It's a 10" wide rim with 1.5" backspace.

Hi everyone, I appreciate the feedback. I have not played with my 68 camaro for years and I still have the rear end issue since 2005 if anyone is still reading this thread thank you. great news I found out the camaro has a 69 LeMans rear end and I'm replacing it with original camaro.

"69 LeMans rear end" ?
Someone had to weld on spring
perches for leaf springs then, the Pontiac had coil springs like a Chevelle.
