Axle Code Locations on a 2nd Gen Camaro?

Where can I find the codes on my 79 Camaro to help me determine what type carrier andgears my car has? I got the codes, I just cannot locate the places where these codes are located on the car.

Pull the cover and check the stamped ratio on the ring gear. After all these years the only way to do it.
