Default So i dug out the 71 saturday

I got this camaro in high school and blew up the 350 in a couple of months. I immediately started building a bog block for it and had it minus bearingg and rings when my brotgher started our pasture on fire and burned down the camper it was stored in. So I out the car in a barn and it has set since 1991. A buuddy was gwetting a divorce and built a 427 for his 55 chevy and i bought it from him. So that got me going. i still had the rock crusher out of it. So I drug it home saturday and I need to start getting her together.

Sounds like a great basis for a project! Hard to beat the 427 BBC. Probably the best big Chevy engine ever built in my opinion. Hope you post pictures as you proceed with your Camaro build!

I came across a Borg Warner Super t-10 for 150$. via a quick google search I think i did okay. it looks good internally. Now do i run the t-10 or the m21?

No question here; the Super T10 trumps a M20/M21.

I agree. Mine has taken more 5g clutch drops than any trans should have to. Plus 150 is a great deal.

Nice work, and it looks like a solid start! I sure hope you're not getting under the car while it's sitting on jack stands on that incline! Looks scary to me!
