Default second gen IROC racing flares

hey guys, im looking for the flares that went on the second gen IROC race cars, i have a 1971 and ive looked everywhere for em. if anybody knows anything please share thanks

The iroc cars were later cars. I rock started in like 74' for what its worth. That year camaros were used after they figured out 911's were not going to work. The front end needs to be rubber to work. See here. They are available all day a fbodywarehouse.

Like Damon mentioned, if these are what you're looking for then they aren't IROC flares, they're aftermarket.




Might contact Spectre and see where they got the flares for their 2nd gen that's set up to road race:

BB I followed your link but didn't see any really good pics of you camaro. I'd love to see more!!

thanks for the input guys, i contacted Spectre a while back and theirs are custom fiberglass ones, i was just hoping to find something i could rivet on sorta like that blue in the picture i posted

I saw a build thread on Nasty a while back where someone built there car with flares. He put a 10" wide wheel up front. Very nice car.

Well, yeah, they are all aftermarket. But those are indeed the style of flares used on the '74 - '77 IROC racecars. I have them on my '75 Camaro CP Solo car. They can be obtained from 70-81 Camaro Catalogue- . About halfway down the page, listed as Motion IROC flares. Last I checked, they were about $380 for the set of 4.

Here is a pic of an original IROC Camaro. The site says it's a '74, but it's obviously not. 1974 Penske
