Default Project Camaro 75

I recently bought a 75 Camaro and want to swap and ls 5.3L into it but my trans is a th350. Do I need to swap my trans to a 4L60E or is there a way I can mount the ls to the th350 thats still in the car?

I would not think it would be worth it. Not all TH350 are the same. If a TH350 came from the factory behind a 150 hp engine then that was what it was configured to handle. Putting that trans behind a 300 HP LS motor should be considered a temporary solution. It is less of a concern if you have an open rear, The one wheel peel cannot put down the 300 ponies so there is much less stress.
