trans swap

i have a 82 camaro with a small block and manual trans. i was given a 200r4 that i would like to try to put in but there is no where to mount the torque arm bracket on the back of the trans. is this a possible swap

There are kits available to move the torque arm mount to the body which will allow any tranny to work. Do a search for trans swap kit for 3 gen f body.
